Hello, I’m T …

My style

My clients describe my style as warm, approachable, heartfelt and fun. Bringing people together and delivering ceremonies that are inspiring, extraordinary and unforgettable is always my aim.

Being a celebrant is absolutely the best job ever! A humanist ceremony is the ultimate celebration – centred around sharing our love and humanity with each other.

I am a strong believer in people having a ceremony that feels right for them – and I'll work with you to make that happen.

A BIT MORE ABOUT ME …

I believe in love!

My name is Tracy, but everyone calls me T (except for my mum when I am naughty) and I confess I’m a proper romantic. I’ve always been a sucker for a great love story and am also a massive fan of weddings, so as you can imagine, being a celebrant is absolutely my best job!

As a celebrant, I hear such incredible stories … of epic world-changing love, of lives full of adventure, and promises from parents about to embark on a journey as a new family. I love it all.

My celebrant superskills

I'm one of 500 amazing humanist celebrants who are trained and accredited by the charity Humanists UK – the longest established celebrant network and the gold standard of celebrant training here in the UK. Our training is top notch and we are continually reviewed to make sure we're amazing at our job.

What does that mean? Well, in addition to being able to write  ceremonies and lead the proceedings, I am a dab hand at ribbon tying, I have a Mary Poppins style bag full of things we may need on the day, I’m fully insured, and in the unlikely event I get run over by a bus, one of my amazing Humanist Ceremonies colleagues can step in.

Extra bits & bobs

Things that make me happy

Lego. Cats. Books. Colour (I’m a bit of a rainbow unicorn). Marvel movies. Fairy lights. Dark, dark chocolate. Being by the sea. Shoes. Yellow. Trying to make art. Addictive box sets. Sewing, knitting & crochet. Loaded veggie burgers. Stories. Last, but by no means least, my wonderful partner in crime, J, who puts up with a lot!

I love words

I've always loved reading. I once spent a year doing The BBC Big Read, reading the nation’s Top 100 books (crazily, I left War and Peace til last!) My love of stories goes hand in hand with writing – another passion. As well as ceremonies, I write for magazines, books and websites.

My experience

I’m happiest when being creative, and before that was writing and delivering ceremonies, I specialised in design and messaging for global brands, publishers and charities. I am also a consultant for international charities, working with them to support patients and carers. Ten years ago I co-founded a national cancer charity, Fight Bladder Cancer – an organisation I'm incredibly proud of. RANDOM FACT: I once illustrated a best-selling sex book!

“ Dear T, thanks so much for being the most incredible celebrant ever!! We are are so lucky that you were able to create such a beautiful ceremony for us.”
